Matt has been working with Millennials for 15+ years. With a background in the pastorate and an advanced degree in Leadership and doctoral work in the study of Spiritual Formation from George Fox University, Matt has an expansive track record as a sounding board and confidant for Millennials in search of the right questions to ask as they pertain to life and the complexities therein.

Matt is an associate professor of Spiritual Formation in the College of Christian Ministries and Religion. His interests include post-structuralism, existentialist literature, Christian mysticism, post-modernity, Emergent Christianity, and contemplative spirituality. He also serves in an advisory role for numerous Millennial leaders and is currently the lead pastor at Oasis Community Church in Lakeland, Florida. He lives in Bartow, Florida with his wife Nicole, along with his three dogs Sadie, Roxy and Spektor.
