Improvising Life

Callid Keefe-Perry

This workshop will be an exploration of what improv teacher Jimmy Carrane calls “Slow Comedy,” a way of doing improvised theater that is grounded in honest emotional responses and connection. But still wicked funny. Seriously. Using hands-on activities and acting exercises we will play with the understanding that you don’t have to be funny to be funny and that there is Truth in Comedy. No experience is necessary and all levels are welcome.
